Thanks for the review. I have the older RNNUM model and the temperature adjustments only go in 2 degree increments, unlike yours. How do you find the differential between your temp setting and the actual room temperature? My controller is set to measure the temperature at the controller as my ducted air handlers are in my attic, so it would run all the time if it was sensing the temperature at the handler. My offset is often 2-3 degrees. If I set the controller to 76 the actual room temperature is 73 or 74. I was told this could be calibrated in the settings but when tech support walked me through this it made no difference.
Hi Scott. Do you have any videos on how to configure where the temperature sensor is read from (functions 42 and 48)?
Hi, thanks for the video. My contractor didn’t leave me any manual for the thermostat Where can I get an online manual for the Fujitsu smart thermostat? I have the same model as in your video Also, I think I paid for an app to control it through my phone or some other kind of remote control and haven’t received that. Where can I pick that up? Thanks again for your help. I appreciate it.
Hi Scott, is there a way to activate the Fan continuously AND activate the Heat mode? I want some heat when required and the FAN working continuously to have a good air circulation in my house. Is it possible?
another thing I wanted to add is that if you turn on the room-temp display to show on the thermostat that the temperatire displayed is the SENSOR ONBOARD the CONTROLLER and NOT what the unit uses for sensing temperature and turning itself on and off... if you set your unit to use the return-duct sensor but display the room temp here then you may not have the same reading.. ie we are installinh 5 units.. 4 in a commercial space and one in my house.. there is a 2 (one flashing from 2-3) degree difference in all the controllers sitting side by side.. for now we are using these sensors and turning on the corrective values in functions 35/36, however the digits displayed on the screen DO NOT CHANGE with any corrective measures we program in functions.. HOWEVER if you use a computer interface the temperature you receive from the computer interface
You are the first person I found with videos using the halcyon that is using an airhandler. I'm looking at switching from propane to a 3T fujitsu halcyon. Any reason you went with this over the Mitsubishi zuba? I'm in cold climate in Ottawa canada
Is it possible to connect a Wifi kit to this? I don’t understand why Fujitsu and majority of the mini split manufacturers do not offer Wifi controls.
Hey,
My unit defaults to unoccupied after it comes back on from power loss. Is there anyway to have it default to occupied so the heat turn back on if I’m not home and the power blips/goes out?
Can you lock the control panel so other people cannot change any of the settings or switch the unit off
FUJITSU
Does anyone know how I set this system to heat? It only has cool or dry settings? I have three different panels throughout my apartment but I can’t get any of them to go to heat mode.
Hi! I moved in a house with a fujitsu+ zone master and i cant choose which rooms i want i’the air to go… any idea why? Thanks
Does this use regular thermostat wires?
Is there a way to disable the green power LED?
This unit seems to lose the time setting during a power failure but other settings are maintained. Has anyone else noticed this?
What to do if my heat mode isn’t blowing heat air no more
How can I change cool mode to heat mode. I don’t see any ‘heat’ button on my unit.
Having lived with a nest, that thermostat interface is pure fugly.
