Words can't express the thanks I have for your video. I was behind on my bill and could not get Vector to reset it. I really needed my alarm system however. I went through several videos and online searches but this actually worked for me. I am a subscriber now and always. Again, Thank You
After 4 hours of talking to my rental agency, various third parties and my landlord I finally found this video and reset my alarm system so I could use it. I even just got a quote from the installer the manufacturer referred me to for $200.00 to install a new box.
Great video. I was just able to reset an older GCX Cp21-345e. Except I noticed that the history logs were still present. Is this normal? And is there a way to clean even those. Also, where can I find a list of model versions since the very first one to present? Thanks again

i have almost the same unit, except under the plus sign it doesnt have the word EMERGENCY, it has pictures of 3 things, police, fire and a plus sign.. how do you find out what model number you have, all the boards say 2GIG, and does have a Z-Wave sticker in blue when i took off the control panel from the wall, Which i think was never enabled.. The problem is that yesterday, the whole system just shut down, like someone unplugged the unit.. The only thing that i have done with it is: took out the cord from the socket, and plugged it back in.. then while the plug was in took out the battery.. but still does not work.. Will this unit work if the battery is depleted or is out of the unit?..Is there a check list i can do... This unit is not being monitored, we did not renew the contract, and has been over for 2 years..
Now after all these steps the syren goes off. How to fix that?
