I've used my Hitachi pneumatic crown stapler like crazy. I can't even begin to mention how much subfloor I've put down with that gun. With that being said, I've never had an issue with it. It wasn't a tool that broke the bank, and it's more than payed for itself. That crown stapler is by far the most reliable one I've ever used. Go TIA!
Yes, the Hitachi pneumatic nailers are the best, my framing crew has like 6 nailers and a bunch of pneumatic staplers as well. Very durable.
I bought the 10” Hitachi miter saw on this review, and it works like a champ!
My Hitachi miter saw performs great. The C10 FSH sliding miter saw has smooth sliding mechanisms, cuts accurately, had great reviews and was made in Japan. Hope the newer Hiachi versions are built as well but mine is running too good to need another.
My Dewalt DW715 was about $225 on Amazon, that was a smokin' deal as well. It's a 12" single bevel, seems like it's a little more saw than the one you have there but if someone couldn't afford the extra $100 I don't think you can go wrong with that one. Good video, as always.
The saw blade guard can be locked out of the way when the blade is being changed. Move the saw blade guard all the way back and then insert the bolt that was removed when you installed the handle on the front of the saw or a short dowel. Place the bolt or dowel in the opening at the end of the metal arm on the side of the plastic blade guard. After the bolt or dowel is inserted begin the procedure to change the saw blade. The guard will stay out of the way while the blade is being changed. My saw came with a wrench to change the saw blade it was attached to the saw beside the black carry handle.
I have a Hitachi reciprocating saw and it's great. Excellent vibration control. I just bought this 10" radial arm saw but haven't used it yet. Hitachi is a Japanese parent company but their power tools are mostly assembled in mainland China.
Hatachi is a great brand. Two things that I love about this saw is that there is five year warrantee and the price.
I was just considering buying this saw on eBay. I've seen the price drop a lot in the last year. The one I'm going to buy is under $100. I'll let you know what I personally think about it when I get it in. Great video guys! I'll definitely subscribe.
Never used a Hitachi saw. My primary mitre saw is a DeWalt 12" dual slider that I use for the more accurate cuts. A few years ago I picked up a Craftsman 10" for ~$80 that is used for cutting plastics, vinyl, and other resins. It still works great and this way I don't gum up my DeWalt.
Hell yea another week of Tools In Action awesomeness starts. I don't own any Hitachi tools so I can't say much about them. But there tools always look cool and affordable. Great video guys can't wait to see what you have in store for the week.
I've almost bought this saw quite a few times. For the price, it looks like a great deal.
Just ordered mine today! Thanks for the great review and I was so surprised by the amt of positive reviews. Seems like a real winner!
Great review! I have Hitachi's 12" slide miter saw and love it great design and features and price point. And it also has a 5year warranty. Only downside to it is also the weight it's very heavy to move when off my stand. Hopefully you guy's get to review it.
I have a 12" that I've had for 4-5 years. I like it. It's a good saw. Does what I need.
Haven't had the need for 12" compound siding saw, but want one bad, but 10" models have been filling 95% of my needs, but Hitachi makes some awesome stuff, have got a lot of Nailers and air compressors, from roofing, framing and finishing, staplers, Hitachi is awesome. But their cordless drills seems like junk just not in same league as the other big guys, but I've used an awesome 2" sds drill for core drilling.
I have that saw and really like it for the quick on the spot work. Nice for casing trim and other small work. One handed carry and throw on the truck for fast work.
i have the same one and i love mine i only use it for small projects but it cuts really nice
I bought a hitachi 12v Ni-CAD circular, recip, drill kit in 2004 and only the drill broke just this year, everything else is still running great. Just bought this miter and I expect it will last at least 10 years.
